Say yes and feel scared. Say no and regret it.

POSTER PECHA KUCHATen days ago I received an email from the Richmond Art Gallery asking me if I wanted to present at their next Pecha Kucha with the theme of Identity. You know how it is. Some things are really good for your art career and you really shouldn’t say no because you recognize they are unique opportunities. I could have said ‘no’ to make my life easier and not have to go through the uncomfortable experience of talking on stage to a large audience. I took a few days to decide. Do it and challenge yourself or don’t do it , feel relief, and regret it later.

So I said ‘yes.’ And here’s the details:

I’ll be presenting at PechaKucha Night in Richmond, BC on July 12, 7-9 pm.

The theme is IDENTITY. Facebook event page.

The 2nd edition of Richmond PechaKucha Night is being presented in partnership with the Richmond Art Gallery, Cinevolution’s Your Kontinent Media Arts & Film Festival and Richmond Public Art.
