I had pocket mirror blanks sitting here for a while, so I decided to make some new gifty pocket mirrors. These will be available at the Emily Carr Student Art Sale in Vancouver. They are 3 inch pocket mirrors with art on one side and the mirror on the other. I have only made 40 of these.
I used my bird drawings from a couple of years ago and combined them with decorative papers and typewriten text. I call these “birds dispensing wisdom.” The image above shows only a small selection of the variety of papers I worked with.
