A selection of my art journal pages from the month of March. I started The Art Journal Project in January 2012. See the January portfolio for project description.
When I finish a page, I capture it with my iphone using the Instagram app. I will often use a filter to frame the whole page or I might only capture a detail. Sometimes the filter modifies the colours and the contrast. The modifications added by the app allow me to look at my pieces in a new way.
The last action — the one where I record the page — allows me to finish the process for that day. I then share the image via Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook where friends and strangers respond to my page of the day. Shown here is only a selection.
